Q: Will the logo watermark I see on the image be on the prints or digital files I order?
A: No. The watermark you see online is simply there to annoy people who want to copy the image without asking permission or paying for it.
Q: Can I buy the original (full resolution) digital file?
A: No. Original digital files are like diamonds in the rough. These files (a.k.a. RAW files) have to be processed by an expert to make them look their best.
Q: What is an image license?
A: When you “buy” an image, you are actually “licensing” the image for personal use. Professional photographer always retains copyright (intellectual property) unless s/he transfers it to the buyer in writing.
Q: Can I buy video clips of my child in action at camp?
A: Camp Life Images offers video services but, at the present time, we only provide this service for camps who hire us to produce promotional videos. Please let us know if you have any objections of your child appearing in promotional camp videos.

Q: What is a “lustre finish” for prints?
A: A lustre finish offers the best of both worlds:
* the color saturation of glossy paper
* the fingerprint resistance of matte paper
* without the glare associated with glossy paper
Lustre has a satin-like sheen and a modestly textured surface which you can see when the light angle is just right. Lustre prints are produced using Kodak Supra Endura paper, which is thicker than the matte paper.
Q: What are your shipping charges?
A: Please click HERE to see complete details
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Please click HERE to view our refund policy. This particular link sends you to our partner Smugmug’s website because they fulfill all our customer print orders but we have the the exact same policy if you purchase merchandise we produce through other vendors.
Q: Prices seem a bit high compared to a JCPenney or a Target store photo studio?
A: Our prices are a little bit higher for a few reasons… First, we are a “boutique” photography and video service company providing a type imagery you will not get anywhere else. Our images are not only unique, we like to think they are best any other studio in the area. Secondly, our service is labor intensive: shooting time plus the editing and backup processes. And thirdly, we spent a lot of money on professional camera and computer equipment. Shooting digital instead of film has increased our overhead dramatically.
